READ THIS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU REGISTER!!!
Registering is free, and your email is only used to send you an automated confirmation email with instructions for activating your account. Hopefully these measures will catch most of the spammers before they get very far.

Here are a few important tips:

username: = Due to massive numbers of robot generate registration attempts by SPAMMERS, you MUST use your real first and last name, not a fictitious "screen name". The name you had in 1972 is the one! If you were "Mary Little" back then and later married Stuart Lamb, you could use either Mary Little, or Mary Little Lamb, but not Mary Lamb. It can be two or more words starting with Capitals, and have a space, ie: Mary Little Lamb works just fine. No hyphens are needed. You will also be filling in your first and last names a second time as required fields that will be viewable in your profile. That's just one more step in keeping the spammers out.

Customizing your profile: After you have registered and logged in for the first time, you can click on the button for "profile" and make some changes to your profile. The most useful is the addition of a signature.

A signature is just what it sounds like. It adds a line at the bottom of each of your posts with some sort of "sign off". The hot setup is to have your name, followed by an optional motto, or thought, ie:
